A New Theme for BTYB!
I finally got around to changing to a new theme. There were a lot of complaints about the old one, and by that I mean that nearly every one of my friends complained about it and stopped reading as often.
Do you like this new one? What parts are better, which are worse? I still have a little bit of work to do, as you can probably tell, but the overall look won’t change. The cool cartoon of me was drawn by Kristen (thanks!).

I miss all the pink colored sections! Definately not as awesome as the normal theme

Looks good but make the posts text a little shorter so I dont hawe to scroll around. Also maybe boulder or bigger letters for posts? It is the most important thing on the page. PInk is nice.

Your last theme looked more professional and this one looks more amateurish.

how abut the original one ? before the pink ?

The bright pink is a bit harsh on the eyes, and I think it would make more sense to have recent comments on the right, the categories higher on the left, and the ads on the bottom of each post. Not that I terribly mind - I’ll keep on reading either way ^_^

I agree with mic. Original one was best.

oohhh, it’s good to see the pink areas are back. It also looks better now when the header isn’t as wide as before (and the header image is also a lot better). Nice job.

I LOVE this style the best out of all of them — and the cartoon is adorable! (Kristen you are an awesome artist…maybe I can convince you to draw one of me! :)) I really like the city in the background as well. Looks good.

If the avatar was created by your own hand it’s authentic express outwieghts it’s amateurish aspects. The main problem with the drawing is that it’s soft undefined edges are contrasted with the sharp straight professional lines of the buildings behind it. It feels incongruent with it’s surroundings.
I would suggest choosing which you like better background or forground and changing the other to match.

injaku- that’s what i like about it… the contrast between the ridid sharp edges of the city with the soft fun cartoon of tynan
