Exciting News
Ok, so I changed my theme again. I kept that last one for a LONG time, but I got a little restless. I’m sad to say goodbye to the awesome cartoon that Kristen drew me, but I had to get this gangsta picture of me up here. I couldn’t resist.
I know that there are a few minor issues with the theme (like the fact that I haven’t tagged / assigned a category to any of my posts for the past year or so). I’ll probably go back and fix that and make it look pretty for you.
The REAL exciting news is that I’m going to be writing features for Gadling.com. Gadling is a travel blog, and I think it’s the most popular one on the net. I’ll be writing a story every week for them. It’s a cool site, so definitely check it out… my favorite posts are the ones by the pilot guy. Very interesting to see behind the scenes there.
It’s interesting that I’ve become a writer of sorts. I used to hate writing papers and usually just failed to do it when they were assigned to me. I don’t really consider myself a writer, though. I consider writing to be the necessary side effect of living a pretty cool life and wanting to keep other people in the loop.
Ok, time to get some sleep over here in the land of the rising sun. Thanks for reading!

Definitely more awesome.
I find with writing, I hated hated hated doing essays and other academic writing assignments, but when I’m writing about things I care about without all the f*cking artificial BS, I actually enjoy it.

I like the new design, but it looks so web 2.0. the old site had a more classic feel, and by classic I don’t mean crummy, I mean more simple.

Thank you! I really hated that cartoon a lot. It was sooo old; I can draw so much better now. I think this whole set-up looks way more awesome and stylish.

Hey Tynan,
Just a quick question. Is the “Dana Moore” at SkinnySnob a fake person? If so, why did you choose to build the site upon one, if not so, who is she?

PS: New layout is great. Now pick a new one for Life Nomadic!

Well you certainly found a good looking girl for the picture.
Concerning the LN theme: I think it’s too boring. It’s all grey and not flashy like your other sites (or your life). I think it doesn’t fit the theme of a traveller.
But I guess you don’t care what I think
btw: Bastard! Just when I start thinking about buying an old Mercedes S-Class I have to find out you beat me to that too!

Washburne: I used a pen name that sounded like a woman’s name because women prefer to be sold to by other women (or so say the marketing gurus)
I love the LN theme!

Tynan,
Awesome new theme, I love it!
I feel the same way about writing. I find myself enjoying it more and more. It is definitely a skill that I’m glad that I’m working on. When you can write well, it really does make a big difference in living a well balanced life.
